Back On Your Feet

Back On Your Feet
Wobbly Turtle Fun

Cuteness overload! Oh what fun it was to make this card, though I made it for two people struggling with pneumonia and a stay in the hospital, so the reason I had to make the card wasn't good, but at least the card will certainly add a little brightness to their days!

This turtle not only looks adorable, but he has an action wobble spring behind him, so he wobbles, accentuating the cuteness! To make this card was quite easy. I started with a Whisper White Thick card base with the second layer in Granny Apple Green. I added a strip of Brights 6x6 Designer Series Paper (Retired - 2018-2019) in Granny Apple Green.  I tied Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon to the base, adhering it to the back of the second layer of cardstock before adhering the whole panel the card base.

The sentiment "Hope you're back on your feet soon" was stamped with Memento ink and punched out with the Story Label Punch and Gingham Gala Sequins were applied in Granny Apple Green to each corner. I took Crumb Cake Classic Stampin Pad and applied a small amount of ink with a blender brush to the punched sentiment for an earthy effect.

To make the turtle, I stamped the image using Memento Ink and then used Light and Dark Granny Apple Green Blends and Dark Crumb Cake Blends. I die cut the circle using Stitched Shapes die cuts. It was very simple to adhere the action wobble spring to the back which allows him to "wobble", so when you "flick" him, he jiggles!

I hope you enjoyed this card, and in keeping with this blog, capture your moments today. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about this card or any products you see used here today.
