Good Morning Magnolia

Good Morning Magnolia

I looked forward to this set becoming available as soon as I saw it. The Good Morning Magnolia Bundle is a hefty two part stamp set with fifteen piece coordinating die set Magnolia Memories Dies. The stamp set does all the work for you with its beautiful magnolia full blossom and buds.

I saw a card very similar to this and CASE'd this card, but unfortunately, I don't remember from whom, so I appreciate the idea I got to connect the buds in a circular pattern creating a wreath-like image.

I started with a Soft Suede cardstock base. My first layer is from the coordinating Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper - a magnificent, beautiful set of patterned papers. For the focal image, I used the Stamparatus and positioned a square, almost 4x4 piece of Whisper White cardstock in the Stamparatus. In Memento Ink, I inked one bud, then rotated my cardstock a quarter turn clockwise and inked again. I did this another quarter turn, and then yet another quarter turn until I was complete with four buds. Then I needed to put the other four buds in between those four buds so they would all connect, so I repositioned my bud on the Stamparatus and repeated rotating and stamping the bud four additional times until I had eight connecting buds. While it may look like it was complicated to do that, it was actually quite simple thanks to the Stamparatus. I then used Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends to color in the buds and leaves. I softened the harshness of the Whisper White cardstock with a small amount of Soft Suede on a blender brush. My final step was to stamp Hello in Soft Suede in the center of the wreath of buds. I mounted this piece to a piece of Soft Suede cardstock and angled that whole piece as a diamond right in the center of the card - no need for anything else - the beauty of the stamp sets and soft colors speak for themselves.

I look forward to making many more cards with this stamp set, so I encourage you to stop back for more! I hope you enjoy some crafting time for yourself and capture your moments today!
