Holly Jolly Meets Cup of Cheer

Holly Jolly Meets Cup of Cheer

I absolutely love the country, somewhat "retro" look of the Night Before Christmas Designer Series and when I saw one of the designs had plates of cookies with mugs of hot chocolate, I knew that would go so well with Cup of Christmas Stamp Set and Cup of Cheers Dies.

The card base is Really Red. The first layer is Very Vanilla which I ran through the Subtle Embossing Folder - one of my favorite embossing folders. I used Stitched Rectangles to create a frame behind and around the Night Before Christmas DSP.

I stamped Santa in Memento ink so I could use Real Red Dark, Black Dark, Petal Pink Light, Rococo Rose Light, and Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends to color in Santa. To lighten his beard, I used Stampin' Blends Color Lifter marker.

The cup was stamped and die cut using Cup of Christmas Stamp Set and Cup of Cheers dies. While there were many adorable greetings in the Cup of Christmas Stamp Set, I found "Oh what yum" in Itty Bitty Christmas and thought that was just perfect.

It's been a rainy Sunday all day, so what better way to spend my time making cards. This card brought back lots of memories of my son leaving cookies out for Santa. Capturing these moments are special to me. If you have any questions or comments, please contact me. And as always, capture your moments today!
